Hello, and welcome to this website about car games, or, more specifically, 2 car games, Gran Turismo and Forza. In this website I will be walking you through the present games and the future. so buckle up !!! and enjoy.
firstly, we'll start with the Gran Turismo series. This series is a serious racing game with 6 games out right now. The previous 2 games (Gran Turismo 5 and 6) have had over 1,000 cars in them and look brilliant. Gran Turismo are very adventures with what they choose the playes to enjoy. In Gran Turismo 5, the used car dealership and an amazing gamemode where you can make your own track in. In Gran Turismo 6, There is a group of cars called Vision Gran Turismo, which is basically a group of cars that companies made only for Gran Turismo so you can enjoy the fantasie of car companies in a game. There are some videos about these Visions down below. Also, Gran Turismo managed to put in a race on the moon!!!!!! I thought this was a bad idea but when I tried it it was actually rather fun. Overall, if you like realistic car games with great graphics and lots of cars, then Gran Turismo is your game. here is a link to the Gran Turismo website. Gran turismo isn't all about what you do in the game, there are 2 apps you can download for free from the app store called "Beyond the Apex" and "Track Path Editor". "Beyond the Apex" gives the original car list of Gran Turismo(not including the Vision Gran Turismos). Track Path Editor allows you to .
When you start Gran Turismo 6 you will start on Brands Hatch with a Clio RS. Your first car will be a Honda FIT RS. In Gran Turismo there is a thing going on called "Vision Gran Turismo" and the Mercedes-Benz Vision Gran Turismo you can get for free.
These are my 3 favourite Vision Gran Turismo that you can drive right now.
In case you didn't notice, that was the Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo. It is one of my favourite visions and I hope you liked the video. I've actually seen this car go 225mph on the back straight on LMS
I guess is wasn't easy making the game physics for a car that has lasor propultion!!! That was the chaparrel 2x Vision Gran Turismo. In the game has one of the highest pp (peformance points) in the game that I've ever seen. I can't give you the specification for the Mazda because it doesn't show on the game but I can tell you the Chaparrel's. it has about 900hp and I've seen it go 260mph on the back straight of LMS, that is extreme speed!!!!.
I could list many things that could explain why this is my favourite car in Gran Turismo. you may have seen in the video that the Tomohawk X could reach 371mph. In the game, if you press a specific button while driving the Tomohawk X then the flaps on the car lower into the car and the car can reach 420mph going downhill. I can't believe they called the first Tomohawk "street", I've seen it exceed 300mph, as if your'e going to be going that fast on the street. My view on the Tomohawk GTS-R is that it's just there to prepare you for the X version, so that you get a taster and I can see that's important but, it's really a waste of code and time so I'm not a fan.
Do you remember what I said in the first paragraph about there being a race on the moon? Well, now I'm going to talk about that.
In the races you get given a state of the art space buggy to drive. It's basically a time trial, you have to get to a crator and then back to "base". It's really cool and the physics is done brilliantly for the zero gravity effect. The graphics are just as good on the moon as they are on the track so it's definitelly a must-do thing if you have the game. Unfortunately, you can't buy the buggy for normal track racing but you can still a great time. Here is a video showing gameplay of the space buggy.
Now, let's talk about the future of Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo Sport. This game can count towards a real racing license and I'm not joking, REAL. It looks fantastic and now you can add liveries with the livery editor, I am so excited about playing it. The only downside I can find about this game is the amount of cars that will be in the finished game. They'll be 139 cars in Gran Turismo sport, about a tenth of cars in Gran Turismo 5!!! here's the gameplay trailer for Gran Turismo Sport.
As you can see if you watched the video is that this game looks brilliant so here are some screenshots of the gameplay and the brilliant new photomode which allows you to take a photo of any car in the game which is an improvement from Gran Turismo 6 where you could only take photos of the car you were in.
Here is a video of some professionals racing on the Nurburgring track (Green Hell) in Germany for 5 laps on the demo version of Gran Turismo Sport.
Here is the current car list that I know about for Gran Turismo Sport.
Now, I'm sorry I can't get a link to the rally version of the Volkswagen Vision because it's not on the Gran Turismo website but here's a picture from the Gran Turismo Sport demo.
My thoughts on Gran Turismo is that if you like hyper realistic racing games with plenty of content and a lot of fun things to do the Gran turismo is your game to own.
Gran Turismo isn't the only car game in the world that I'm going to talk about.Click here to learn about Forza motorsport and horizon games"
